McKellen on Gandalf and gay rights

Sir Ian McKellen returns to the role of the wizard Gandalf in a much-anticipated new film trilogy based on Tolkien's 1937 book The Hobbit.

He appeared on The Andrew Marr Show to discuss the film and also shared his views on the issue of gay marriage.
