Secondary league tables: Best Baccalaureate results

  • Published

This table lists the 200 schools in England that have highest scores for the new measure, the English Baccalaureate.

The English Baccalaureate, or EBacc, was announced in summer 2010, and will, in future, be awarded to pupils attaining A*-C GCSE passes in maths, English, two science qualifications, a language, and geography or history.

Schools are ranked in the table by the proportion of pupils achieving the EBacc. In addition, point scores are allocated for each qualification gained, with higher scores for higher grades. The average number of points per pupil is used as a tie-break.

Schools marked IND are independent, those marked SEL select their pupils on the basis of academic activity. Schools marked AC are academies. Schools with fewer than 30 pupils in the relevant year group are not included.
