Russian plane: Did 'can bomb' cause Sinai crash?

Islamic State militants have posted an image of a homemade bomb that they claim was used to bring down a Russian passenger plane over the Sinai desert, killing all 224 people on board.

The claim was made in an English-language magazine issued by the militants.
