Maria parents appear on Bulgarian TV chat show

The mother of the Bulgarian Roma girl Maria, who was being raised by a couple in Greece, has told a TV show that she did not sell her daughter.

Sasha Ruseva claims she gave her child away because she could not afford to bring her up.
