Hungary races to build up new dam

Engineers in Hungary are racing to finish an emergency dam to stop another flow of toxic sludge from reaching nearby villages.

Seven people died last week when the wall of a reservoir burst open, causing thousands of tonnes of red toxic waste to spill into the surrounding area.

Experts fear it is only a matter of time before the rest of the wall gives way.
