Rescued animals cleaned after toxic spill in Hungary

The clean-up is continuing in Hungary following a spill of toxic red sludge from an industrial plant.

The alkali sludge has reached the Danube and emergency workers say it has devastated wildlife in the area.

Fish were found dead in one of the rivers which leads into the Danube and teams are attempting to clean and treat rescued animals which have been coated in the sludge.
