Hungary's toxic sludge reaches branch of Danube
Toxic waste from a burst reservoir in Hungary has reached a tributary of the Danube.
Experts say levels of alkaline have risen in the Raba river, which is about 30km from Europe's second longest river.
If the sludge gets into the Danube the pollution could reach six countries down-stream, including Croatia, Serbia and Romania.
