Judge: 'Oscar Pistorius guilty of murder'

South African Olympic athlete Oscar Pistorius has been found guilty of murder after a South African appeals court overturned an earlier manslaughter verdict.

Judge Leach said Pistorius should be referred back to the original trial judge for sentencing. He said a retrial would be "wholly impractical".

The Paralympic sprinter shot girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp through a locked bathroom door in February 2013 but said he mistook her for an intruder.
