Problems for South Africa's ANC as it marks 100 years

Three days of celebrations to mark the centenary of South Africa's ruling African National Congress have begun in the central city of Bloemfontein.

The ANC was originally founded to fight white minority rule and was driven for years from prison or exile by Nelson Mandela, Oliver Tambo and Walter Sisuslu.

However, the movement now faces new struggles with continuing questions over its political standing and credibility.
