Tripoli hit by air strikes overnight
Air strikes have hit the Libyan capital, Tripoli, just hours after state TV aired video of what it said was Col Muammar Gaddafi meeting officials in the city.
The appearance of the Libyan leader, which cannot be independently confirmed, is the first time he has been seen in public for nearly two weeks.
It comes as the head of Libya's rebel council meets with the British Prime Minister, David Cameron, in London.
