Merthyr runners ready for Sunday's Cardiff Half Marathon

After training on the hills around the town, members of a Merthyr Tydfil running club are gearing up for Sunday's Cardiff Half Marathon.

In total, 35 runners from the club, set up two years ago, will be joining 22,000 competitors on the streets of the capital city.

Some are aiming for personal bests, while others are running their first half marathon and are just looking forward to being a part of it.

Sam Richards spoke to club members ahead of the race.
