Carwyn Scott-Howell: Lives 'torn apart' after skiing death
The lives of a family were "torn apart" by a skiing accident that "should never have happened", according to the godmother of a boy who died.
Lucy England read out a family statement following an inquest into the death of Carwyn Scott-Howell.
A coroner in Newport ruled the seven-year-old's death during a holiday in the French Alps in April was accidental.
Ms England said Carwyn, of Talybont-on-Usk, Powys, had been skiing since he was three and was "more than competent".
