Alex Salmond: Scottish independence all but inevitable

Alex Salmond will form Scotland's first majority government.

During the election campaign, that ended in the SNP's stunning victory, the party promised a referendum on independence.

Speaking to the BBC Mr Salmond said independence was now all but inevitable.
