Campbell: Coulson quitting raises issues

The search is under way for a new director of communications at No 10 following the resignation of Andy Coulson.

Mr Coulson stepped down because he said the allegations about phone-hacking at the News of the World, when he was its editor, had become a distraction. He has always denied any knowledge about hacking.

Tony Blair's former head of communications Alastair Campbell said that the resignation of Mr Coulson raised some serious issues.
