Police searches in Larne follow the arrest of a Royal Marine over Northern Ireland-related

Police have been searching two houses in Larne, County Antrim, following the arrest of a Royal Marine on suspicion of Northern Ireland-related terrorism offences.

Reporting from the scene, BBC Newsline's David Maxwell said there was a heavy police presence on the Old Glenarm Road, where at least two properties were searched.
