Surgery success for boy, 3, with organs outside his abdomen

A three-year-old born with organs outside his abdomen has had a successful operation in Oxford.

Ethan Suglo, from Ghana, has exomphalos which can be fatal but is routinely treated in the UK.

Last year his father Charles met doctors David and Jacquie Williams when they were visiting Ghana and asked them to examine his son.

The parents helped raise £39,000 to fly Ethan to the UK for surgery in Oxford.
