Matthew Pietrzyk's family appeals for kidney after six year wait
The family of a nine-year-old boy with a rare genetic disease has started a social media campaign after waiting six years for a kidney transplant.
Matthew Pietrzyk from Glenfield, Leicester has been told by doctors that he has a three in 10,000 chance of finding a kidney match.
His mother, Nicola Pietrzyk, said the family was trying to stay positive and had set up a Facebook page, external to help raise awareness.
