Leicester's pancreatic and liver cancer research funding push
Researchers at Leicester's hospitals are calling for an increase in funding for liver and pancreatic cancer research in the city.
Surgeon Ashley Dennison, at Leicester General Hospital, said the long-term survival rate for pancreatic cancer had not changed much in over 30 years.
Last weekend, NHS staff, patients and their families took part in a charity bike ride from Leicester to Skegness to raise money for the cause.
