Laurie Lee's wood opens as nature reserve

A wood once owned by writer Laurie Lee has opened as a new nature reserve, on what would have been the Cider with Rosie author's 99th birthday.

The Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust has bought the three-hectare woodland in the Slad Valley from the author's family.
