Ex-bouncer David Oakes murdered partner and daughter

Former bouncer David Oakes has been found guilty of murdering his partner and their two-year-old daughter in a jealous rage.

Oakes, 50, of Steeple, near Maldon in Essex who shot Christine Chambers, 38, and daughter Shania at their home in June 2011, was convicted after a four-week trial at Chelmsford Crown Court.

He has been sentenced to a full life tariff.
