Hot weather: Should men ever wear shorts to work?

If your normal work-wear is uncomfortable in the scorching hot weather then you might have been tempted to opt for a more casual look.

But are shorts for men a step too far in the office?

Jeremy Langmead is the editor-in-chief of global online men's fashion retailer Mr Porter.com.

He told BBC Radio 5 live's Breakfast, "In some professions it's fine to wear to wear a pair of shorts to the office but I think it depends where you work and just as importantly what your legs look like."
