Marathon death prompts Samaritans donations
Thousands of people have given money to the charity supported by a runner who died during the London Marathon on Sunday.
Claire Squires, 30, collapsed near the end of the course and since news of her death emerged, donations have been flooding in to the Samaritans.
More then £280,000 has been pledged so far, and the total is still rising.
Sal Lalji from the Samaritans said the charity was stunned by the donations.
She said the money would be put into a special fund to be spent how Claire would have wanted it to be.
