My mother is treated like a trapped animal
Care of elderly people in their homes is so poor their human rights are being overlooked, an inquiry by the Equality and Human Rights Commission has found.
The inquiry is investigating how well over-65s who receive home care visits are looked after in England.
Anne Novis says the maximum amount of three half-hour visits a day is not enough for her 84-year-old mother.
"It's extremely poor. It's less than you would give an animal that was in care," she said.
