Bird inquest jury returns verdict of 12 unlawful killings

A jury has returned 12 verdicts of unlawful killing at the inquest into the deaths of the victims of Derrick Bird.

The taxi driver went on a shooting rampage through west Cumbria, last June, before killing himself in woodland near Boot.

Over the course of the inquest, more details about the events of that day came to light.
