Fifteen people injured in Salford gas explosion

Fifteen people have been injured, one of them seriously after a suspected gas explosion tore through a row of houses in Salford, Greater Manchester.

Four houses were destroyed in the blast which ripped through the terraced homes in Silver Street, Irlam.
