Halo Reach goes on sale for the Xbox 360

Stores across the world have been opening at midnight to give gamers the chance to buy the last game in the Halo series from Bungie.

The previous edition, Halo 3, was at one time the biggest selling game of all time, a record taken by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Dozens of Halo fans lined up in London's Westfield shopping centre to get their hands on the final instalment.
