Teenage views: Scottish independence referendum
It is exactly one year until the referendum on Scottish independence, meaning anyone aged 15 or over today will be able to vote on 18 September 2014.
Newsbeat's politics reporter Jim Taylor has spoken to Dana Lees, 16, and 17-year-old Ian Shackleton in Ullapool.
They disagree about whether or not Scotland should become an independent country.
Both think the main political parties need to be clear about what the issues involved are.
