Festival sheds light on Sergei Prokofiev's personality
Sergei Prokofiev is one of the 20th Century's greatest and most popular composers.
Yet, he remains an enigma as a person in his decision to renounce the artistic freedom of Paris and return home to to live in Stalin's Soviet Union.
A festival of his music is now taking place at London's Southbank Centre and poses the question: Was Prokofiev a Man of the People?
