Cape Town's successful 'steampunk' coffee shop

"Steampunk" is an artistic and aesthetic movement that has a wide range of influences, from Victorian technology and literature, to comics.

A successful steampunk-themed cafe in Cape Town, Truth Coffee Roasting cafe, started up in a "neglected building in a really run down neighbourhood" according to co-founder David Donde.

The shop has been built around its own 1940's cast-iron roaster, with layers of steampunk-inspired decorations and contraptions added.
