GDP figures 'worrying', says Balls

The Chancellor, George Osborne, has welcomed better than expected figures for economic growth in the third quarter of the year.

GDP increased by 0.5% compared with 0.1% in the previous quarter.

But the Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls warned that "things are getting worse for families and businesses".
