Samsung and Apple's patent clash heads to trial by jury

Two technology giants, Apple and Samsung, are taking their legal battle over claims of patent infringement before a jury in a court in California.

Apple is accusing the South Korean firm of copying its patented software and is seeking $2.5bn in damages. However Samsung denies the charge and has launched its own counterclaims.
