Back in the year 2000, the National Botanic Garden of Wales officially opened its doors to the public. As well as spectacular flowers and plants, there's mammals, reptiles, amphibians and more than 100 types of moth and butterfly plus a superb range of birds.

Bushy Park

Bushy is the second largest of the Royal Parks in London. There's a majestic display of trees fit for a king - as well as plentiful wildlife.

Thorp Perrow

Thorp Perrow covers 85 acres of woodland and lakes, providing excellent opportunities for some really interesting wildlife walks.

"Many of the nation's country estates introduced wild animals such as deer for the pleasure of the owners and visitors.

"We have some carefully managed habitats for you to explore - a park, a newly created garden and a country estate."
