Leaving the BBC or thinking of claiming your pension?
Pension Information for staff considering leaving the BBC or claiming pension benefits
Redundancy
The Pension Centre has put together a series of pension sessions to help current active members of the BBC Pension Scheme understand their pension options if they were to leave the BBC on redundancy. NOTE: The sessions are aimed at members of the BBC Pension Scheme who joined before December 2010. Alternatively, members of the BBC LifePlan, managed by Aviva, can get information from the BBC LifePlan website and NEST members from the NEST website.
The BBC Pension Scheme sessions will cover:
- How your pension is calculated
- What happens if you leave the BBC
- Pension options
There is lots of information about how Scheme pension benefits are calculated on the Members section. You can view your Scheme pension benefits, including if you were to leave the BBC, via myPension Online
