As It Happened
Find out more about Radiohead's evening set with our text message report from the BBC Interactive team in the Radio Theatre.
9.01pm: We've had our safety announcements and now we're just waiting for Mark Radcliffe and some young rock combo from Oxford...
9.04pm: On come Radiohead to cheers from the audience.
9.06pm: We wait for the Iggy Pop track to finish on Radio 2. Thom's making faces.
9.10pm: Off we go... Bodysnatchers up first.
9.13pm: 'Its the 21st century...' The crowd look a little stunned to be so close to their idols.
9.15pm: Thom has a little rest on the piano as the band moves onto All I Need.
9.18pm: The shiny piano reflects an impassioned Yorke as the track ends.
9.21pm: Off goes the piano and straight into a beautiful rendition of Nude.
9.24pm: A thank you from the frontman and now for something a little older; Airbag.
9.30pm: Tambourines are out and some of the crowd can't resist the temptation to stand as Airbag is followed up with Reckoner.
9.35pm: Gasps from the audience as OK Computer's The Tourist is up next.
9.38pm: Add in the effects of the light show in this intimate venue and we could indeed be floating.
9.39pm: Crowd pleaser House Of Cards is next, wait a minute, aren't they all crowd pleasers?
9.46pm: Jonny and Ed come together as this band begin another In Rainbows favourite; Weird Fishes / Arpeggi.
9.51pm: They make this all look so easy...some people are actually embracing as the realise Lucky is the next track.
9.57pm: A few false starts but its handclaps all round as we move onto Everything In Its Right Place.
9.58pm: Ed and Jonny hunker down on either side of the stage. The front row wont get many better chances to get closer.
9.59pm: We all peer around each other to try and catch a glimpse of what they're up to.
10.01pm: A quick bow from Thom and they're off with the sound of Everything... still ringing around the room.
10.03pm: Someone spots Jonny's stripey jumper, time for an encore.
10.04pm: Thom and Jonny return for Faust Arp.
10.07pm: Is that really it? No one wants to leave but the dreaded house lights mark the end. We really were the lucky few.

"Was awesome ... in my dreams I was there. And everyone loved me and screamed like fireworks display... "We are so happy that you are here"

"Well I'm glad I got something back for paying my TV licence every year. Great gig in the evening. The clarity of sound in that theatre is simply amazing compared to auditorium gigs where you hear the muffles of the singer. Well done Radiohead and the BBC."
Steve Molyneux
"Imagine the perfect gig. Being sat feet away from a band you love, with an audience that doesn't talk through the entire set, and the best sound you've ever witnessed at a live show. A perfect performance. A big thank you to all at the BBC and also my mate Rob who gave me a ticket for the show."
Paul Neale
"Even catching what appeared to be the milk train back to Birmingham didn't detract from what was a tremendous hour of music. An amazingly intimate gig, with crystal clear acoustics and wonderful songs, played with real passion - this is music that is truly dazzling. A memorable night - still wondering how the hell my name got pulled out? Lucky. (which was great to hear as well)"
