Showcases her voice at its youthful best.

This week it’s time to feature one of the greatest female vocalists in soul music history… In fact she's known by many as the 'Queen of Soul'.
Aretha Franklin has had a long and illustrious career. She's the second most honoured female Grammy winner. For a time the 'Best Female Vocal' category was nicknamed 'The Aretha Award'.
She's a singer, songwriter and pianist and her body of work is vast. One of her most recognisable pieces is her first album for Atlantic Records, I Never Loved A Man The Way I Love You. Recorded in 1967, it's an album full of hits and perfectly showcases her voice at its youthful best.
