BBC Review
...one heck of an album...
Its just as well that Terri Walker has returned to good form with her third LP, as the faux pas that was her sophomore album didn't do much for her cause.Thankfully, she's got all the commercial mediocrity out of her system, and I Am features plenty of the quirky jazzy soul that made her 2002 debut, Untitled, stand out from the crowd.
The albums finest moments belong to "Addicted", the delectable ballad "Forever and a Day" and the jazz-led "Imperative".
This is one heck of an album, putting Terri firmly back in the premier league of UK singers.
