Now that darkness has fallen, it's getting harder to squeeze inside any of the tents, but Mr B and I decide that we simply must have a look at Hot Chip, fighting our way into a very hot and sweaty crowd to watch five geeky lads pump out some really hot electro pop with a nice little dose of funk on the side (to keep the disco chicks like me happy!)

There's definitely a hint of early Prince in there, plus a nod to Donna Summer and New Order, and of course, Kraftwerk. 'Over And Over' (one of their recent singles) is my favourite tonight, and the tightly packed crowd laps it up.

Were they worth their nomination this year for the Mercury Music prize? If tonight's performance is anything to go by, oooh yes. Thanks boys, we enjoyed the party!
