Draft Election Guidelines for the General Election
The draft Election Guidelines for the General Election are now available.

They outline a framework for how the BBC will deliver audiences impartial and independent reporting of the campaign, providing fair coverage and rigorous scrutiny of the polices and campaigns of all parties.
When they have been approved, the guidelines will formally take effect from 12.01am on Wednesday 3 May, the dissolution of Parliament.
Comments on the guidelines should be sent to the BBC’s Chief Political Advisor by email before 10am on Monday 1 May.
