The Baby Has Landed

Ep. 2/4 -

In this second episode, first-time parents Syler and Mo are getting to grips with the trials of having a new baby whilst living with Syler’s extended family.

Meanwhile, mum-of-two Hermisha is rushed to hospital in an ambulance in the advanced stages of labour. As she gives birth to the much-anticipated baby Ramiyah, her sons Elijah (seven) and Ezrah (five) are at home with their grandparents drawing pictures of what they think their baby sister will look like.

In West Sussex, Paul and Craig gear up for the arrival of their twin girls with a baby shower for close family and friends. Their surrogate Mel finds herself the centre of attention - the guests full of questions about why she offered to carry their babies. It turns out that Paul served as cabin crew with Mel on a layover in Cuba. When she heard about him and his husband and their dream of starting a family and it struck her she might be able to help. Though she is carrying the babies, she has no biological relationship to them as both are from donor eggs.

Meanwhile, parents of five Helen and Nigel are already back in their normal routine a week after their latest arrival. They wrestle four children to bed before heading off to lead their local Guides and Scouts group.
