Episode five: Sour Grapes. Miranda (Elen Rhys) and Max (Julian Looman) head out into wine country to investigate the killing of a dog at one of the island’s most famous vineyards - Bodegas Negra.

It transpires that the shooting is just one of an increasingly dramatic series of threats faced by property owner Hans Webber (Wolf Kahler), his daughter Yvonne (Silvina Buchbauer) and son-in-law Rainer (Michael Epp). And when Rainer’s latest batch of white wine is dyed blue, all fingers point to arch-rival Emilio Byass (Simon Andreu).

Miranda discovers that the rivalry between the two houses goes deeper than merely wine, and what starts as a case of a murdered dog reveals itself to be so much more. The detectives find themselves uncovering tragic family stories of the heart, and a clash of the new world with the old.
