Episode four: Number One Fan. Palma Police Chief Ines (Maria Fernandez-Ache) sends Miranda (Elen Rhys) and Max (Julian Looman) to investigate the disappearance of the supermodel sister of famous German interior designer Otto Caligari (Matthias Zera).

Last seen on the famous Soller train, Valentina appears to have vanished into thin air when the train went through a tunnel.

The investigation takes Max and Miranda into the strange world of avant-garde characters, whose inward-looking, self-obsessed artistic existence doesn’t impress Miranda at all. Max on the other hand…

Chef Richard Webb (Al Weaver), is by comparison a breath of fresh air, until Miranda and Max do some further digging and discover a disturbing past.

A dramatic car chase with paparazzi in tow forces Miranda to confront her fears, while a piece of jewellery has a significance neither detective could have foreseen.

Once the case is solved, Max’s next mission is to help Miranda face her phobia.
