The Greatest Cricketer Of All Time

Noreen Khan and Yasser host a countdown of the top 30 greatest cricketers of all time, as voted for by the public.

Cricket fans have been having their say on who they think should be crowned the G.O.A.T. in a nationwide vote ahead of the Cricket World Cup arriving in the UK.

The vote, launched on Tuesday 7 May on the Asian Network, allowed listeners to choose their favourite from a shortlist of 30 players compiled by a panel of experts, including Radio 1 DJ and co-host of 5 Live’s Tailenders Greg James, former English cricketer Isa Guha, IPL host Shonali Nagrani, and Asian Network’s Noreen Khan.

The shortlist includes England cricket legends Sir Alastair Cook, Sir Ian Botham and James Anderson alongside greats from around the world, such as Australia’s Sir Donald Bradman, India’s Sachin Tendulkar, New Zealand’s Sir Richard Hadlee, Pakistan’s Wasim Akram and the West Indies’ Brian Lara.

Voting takes place via the Asian Network website and closes on Monday 20 May 2019 at 7pm.
