Knowing Steve, Knowing You

Alan Partridge is back on primetime television. To tie in with his brand new series This Time With Alan Partridge, Radio 4 Extra broadcasts Steve Coogan in conversation with the novelist and screenwriter Frank Cottrell-Boyce, talking about his life and career.

The three-hour special features interviews with John Thomson, Henry Normal, Michael Winterbottom, Simon Greenall, Graham Duff, Sioned Wiliam and Steve Brown.

Knowing Steve, Knowing You also features archive material including:

• Knowing Knowing Me, Knowing You: Alan Partridge Documentary (1993), where the hapless host takes a fly on the wall, behind-the-scenes look at Pear Tree Productions
• Nebulous - The Buzzing (2006) where Professor Nebulous battles against giant, murderous insects in the Sci Fi comedy with Mark Gatiss and guest star Steve Coogan
• Extracts from Hey, Rrradio!!! (1988) in which Steve Coogan makes his national radio debut on Radio 1 in 1988 with A Question Of International Revolutionary Politics in the comedy cabaret extravaganza
• The Word Made Fresh (1988) which sees Steve Coogan performs his early comedy creation Duncan Thickett in this curtain raiser to the first BBC Radio Young Writers Festival
• Front Row (2010) where Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon talk to John Wilson

Plus, from Tuesday 19 February-Sunday 24 February, 10.30pm- 11pm 4 Extra will broadcast Knowing Me, Knowing You, where Alan hosts his own show - but has more interest in himself than his guests.
