In this episode, actor and singer Jane Birkin gives Vincent carte blanche to talk about her life, as she recalls recording 'that' song with Serge Gainsbourg.
It was in 1968, when she was just 22, that this shy English girl left London for an audition in France, little realising it would change her life and become her home. This particular British girl went on to become a French national icon, and is a much loved national treasure in her adopted country as well as a world famous singer, who has released more than 24 albums and single that’s sold in excess of 6 million copies. She is an actress in over 70 films, the designer of one of the world’s most desirable handbags, a mother, a grandmother and a humanitarian. In this episode, Jane talks about her early career in film, her relationship with Serge Gainsborough and becoming a mother for the first time.
