Gabby Logan presents live coverage as some of the world’s finest athletes face off at the Birmingham Grand Prix.

One of the highlights of the 2018 outdoor season, the Diamond League meeting comes just six days after the conclusion of the 2018 European Championships and is set to feature a raft of newly-crowned European champions.

In last year’s event (pictured), six-time world champion Mo Farah won his final track race on UK soil in the 3000m to cement his legacy as Britain’s greatest athlete, while the Netherlands’ Sifan Hassan smashed the meeting record in the women’s event.

Elsewhere Mutaz Essa Barshim’s world-leading clearance of 2.40m in the high jump was celebrated by his competitors, with the Qatari athlete taking the bar home with him as a memento.
