You, Me And The Big C

BBC Radio 5 live’s groundbreaking podcast You, Me And The Big C is back after its hugely well received first series, which was a top five hit in the iTunes podcast chart.
Described by one reviewer as “funny, honest and brave, not at all what you’d expect from a podcast about cancer”, it looks at the illness through the eyes of three young women who have fought or are still undergoing treatment for cancer.
BBC Radio 5 live news presenter Rachael Bland shares the mic with fellow bloggers Deborah James and Lauren Mahon. The three powerhouses behind the pod tackle a host of subjects which are often difficult to talk about: from how to broach cancer with children, to quizzing doctors on how they really feel about their patients.
New episodes of You, Me and The Big C will be online every Thursday on bbc.co.uk/5live, with a shorter version on BBC 5 live’s Phil Williams show every Wednesday night.
