Troy: Fall Of A City

Ep. 2/8 -

Episode two: Conditions

News of the shock elopement between Helen and Paris reaches Troy, as the pair arrive in the city to face the alarming consequences of their actions. In Sparta, Helen’s furious husband Menelaus (Jonas Armstrong) rages at her disappearance, and his brother Agamemnon (Johnny Harris) inspires a Greek army to attack Troy and get her back. Odysseus, King of Ithaca (Joseph Mawle) is sent for, but he is too unwell to join the coalition. Or is he?

Priam (David Threlfall) and Hecuba (Frances O’Connor) debate whether to send Helen back or face the repercussions. In Aulis, where the Greeks are gathered, the winds aren’t in their favour and the fleet can’t leave. The goddess Artemis (Thando Hopa) presents Agamemnon with an agonising dilemma that will test him to the full.
