Sports Personality Of The Year 2017

A fantastic and memorable year will be celebrated in style as Gary Lineker, Clare Balding and Gabby Logan present the 2017 BBC Sports Personality Of The Year.

In front of a 10,000 strong crowd, live from Liverpool’s Echo Arena, the world’s most iconic sports awards show will look back on all the magical moments of the past 12 months as well as reward some of the year's standout achievers. The main Sports Personality Of The Year award - now in its 64th year - will be decided by a public vote on the night, and there are many contenders who can win it.

The awards for Team, Coach, Unsung Hero, Young Sports Personality, Overseas, Helen Rollason and Lifetime Achievement will also be given out while the inspirational films, interviews and live performances will re-capture the moments from the year which saw many British sportstars and teams become world champions.
