Remembrance Sunday: The Cenotaph

David Dimbleby presents live coverage from The Cenotaph in Whitehall on BBC One, for the nation's Remembrance Sunday commemorations.
For the first time Her Majesty the Queen will watch proceedings from the balcony of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and observe the Prince of Wales and other members of the Royal Family in the wreath laying below.
The Prime Minister, leading politicians, representatives of many of the world's religions, dignitaries from around the Commonwealth and military leaders will join thousands of veterans for the Two Minute Silence at 11 o’clock - followed by the traditional service of remembrance and the Royal British Legion march past to remember the men and women who have died serving their country.
On Horse Guards we will hear some of the remarkable stories from the veterans taking part. Highlights of the morning’s event will be shown later that day at 6pm on BBC Two.
