BBC New Comedy Award 2017: Final

The successful comedians from the semi-finals in Edinburgh go through to the final, broadcast live from the BBC tent at George Heriot’s school.

Mark Watson will host the evening as the six finalists compete to be crowned the winner of the BBC New Comedy Award 2017.

The BBC New Comedy Award offers new talent a springboard into the world of comedy and the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of some of the UK’s top comics, with past winners and finalists including Alan Carr, Peter Kay, Lee Mack, Sarah Millican, Russell Howard, Joe Lycett, Josie Long, and Nina Conti.
